Best about the hotel was really the breakfest, extremely good. Hotel is quiet, good for travelling with young kids. Staff was helpful and friendly. All and all a very positive experience.

I liked best the unique view to Old Town from my window!

The hotel is located in Gdansk Old Town, but on the silent side of the Old Town, far away from tourist masses. Anyhow, it's only 10 minutes walk along the canal to the famous Dlugi Targ (Long Market). That's why it's peaceful and cosy. It's not too big, either. The hotel building is a former granary from 17th century. If You have a room at Motlawa-side, You'll see from Your window the unique historical silhouette of Gdansk Old Town from 17th century. Eating breakfast You can observe sailingboats sailing by in Motlawa canal. In the evening You can enjoy Youself sitting at terrace by Motlawa, looking at lights from the other side. You really feel like living in historical surroundings.

    Very good

The place was homey and attractive and the staff were amicable, the location was beautiful in walking distance to all major sightseeing spots. Location: the hotel was near the restaurant, the harbour and oldtown and centre & restaurants. And it was relatively near Dom Sushi, ate there couple of times...

Good location at the center near the Old town. The hotel stays on the shore of Moltava river on the island nearest to Gdansk Filarmony from one side and Sea museum from other. Good renovated old historical building of mill elevator. Cozy restaurant with view on Moltava river and the Old Gdansk with pleasant kitchen and service.

A very nice, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel located in an old converted granary right next to the Baltic Philharmonics building on a tiny island between two channels. Magnificent views on Gdansk Old Town from some rooms, spacious and well designed rooms, rich breakfast table, rather centrally located. Ideal both for tourists and business travellers. One very important feature - really quiet rooms!

For such a nice hotel the cleanliness was a little bit below my expectations - of the two garbage bins in the room the one in the bathroom was not emptied in the two days I stayed there and it also contained garbage from earlier guests. Another inconvenience is that going from the hotel to the Old Town takes a little bit longer than it could - the island the hotel is on is not connected by bridge to the Old Town side of the canal; you have to walk first to the opposite side and so you maybe lose about 10 extra minutes. It is just a minor inconvenience but could be kind of frustrating when you are looking after a long day in the city centre at your hotel a few hundred metres across the water and know that you need to walk that damned circle again to get there.

Interesting historic building with a good remake into a modern hotel. Very nice location; a bit more quiet but still within short distance of the centre (including the ferry navette from the nearby maritime museum) and great view of the historical city centre. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Parking right outside the hotel.

We loved the atmosphere in the hotel and the whole design, quality is definetely worth the price. Breakfasts were excellent with a lot of choice. Rooms: very cosy, tidy and although are furnished simple it gives a family- like atmosphere. All in all, We enjoyed staying there. The receptionists were very helpful as they gave us a lot of tips about sight seeing, places where to eat, to visit etc. Also helped us in very practical things. Just perfect.

A beautiful cosy hotel, only 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Beautiful view ( river, city) from room 210. Very good breakfast buffet - warm fresh bread, fresh fruit, cold and warm breakfast, very tasty. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. Easy check in and check out, good information about Danzig. Thank you, we like the hotel and the city very much. We will come back

Only a little bit. One day it was very bussy in the breakfast room and we had to ask 3 times- one time for for milk, second time for more cups and third time for more coffee beans ( the coffee machine was out of coffee beans) This should be better in the future-staff should check everything.
